![]() ![]() This is a global I2C/SMBus protocol, where the host MCU broadcasts a Receive Byte transmission after the interrupt is received. Another way to clear the ALERT interrupt is to respond to the alert response address. When the ALERT pin is asserted, it will remain latched until its STATUS register is read after the overtemperature condition no longer exists. If a programmed threshold is exceeded, the ALERT pin will be asserted to a LOW logic level. ![]() The EMC1833 IC also features the ALERT reporting capability. Therefore, the EMC1833 features Programmable External Diode Ideality Factor, which can be easily set by changing the value in the appropriate register. This variation of the ideality factor introduces errors in the temperature measurement which must be corrected for. Not all external diodes, processor or discrete, will have this exact value. The accuracy of the remote measurement depends on the ideality factor of the remote BJT junction. In return, the temperature measurement results are more accurate and reliable. Therefore, the temperature acquisition is not particularly fast. The ADC integrates the result over a period of 21ms, reducing the noise that way. The EMC1833 IC automatically sends biasing current through the BJT junctions, while the IC samples the forward voltage for the given current and calculates the temperature. All other bits of the low-byte register are set to zero. Both external and internal temperature measurements are stored in 11-bit format with the eight Most Significant bits (MSb) stored in a high-byte register and the three Least Significant bits (LSb) stored in the three MSB positions of the low-byte register. The temperature measurement results are stored in the internal and external temperature registers. The EMC1833 features a 11-bit ADC which results in having the 0.125☌ resolution. The discrete component can be connected to the screw terminal at the edge of the Click board™. For more information, please refer to datasheet of the EMC1833, which also states some forward voltage ranges for the highest and the lowest expected temperatures and other parameters which should be considered when selecting the transistor. There are some specific requirements for a discrete component when using it as a remote temperature sensor: for example, it has to be a small signal BJT. Anti-parallel connected discrete NPN transistors, collector and base of the first transistor connect to emitter of second transistor and DN2 pin of EMC1833, emitter of the first transistor connected to collector and base of second transistor and DP2 of pin EMC1833.Discrete NPN transistor (2N3904) with its collector and base connected to DP pin, while the emitter is connected to the DN pin of the EMC1833.Substrate PNP transistors collector connected to the DP pin, a base connected to DN pin of EMC1833 and emitter is grounded. This sensor is capable of measuring its own temperature, as well as the temperature of the remote BJT junction, which can be either a discrete PNP or NPN transistor, or a substrate of some integrated component (typically CPU, FPGA, ASIC or GPU). The main component of the Remote Temp Click is the EMC1833, a ☑☌, SMBus/I2C compatible local/remote temperature sensor with an overtemperature alarm, produced by Microchip. when it is required to monitor both the ambient temperature within the enclosure, as well as the IC die temperature, for test and measurement applications, and similar. Features such as dual temperature measurement, high accuracy, and programmable ALARM events, allow this Click board™ to be used in many applications, including dual-zone thermal monitoring in FPGA, embedded, and PC systems, i.e. However, the Click board™ can be operated within the range between -40☌ to +125☌ when used to measure the Internal/External temperature. The EMC1833 features a high accuracy of ☑☌ within the range between -40☌ and +125☌, which is a critical thermal bandwidth of most IC with the substrate PNP or NPN transistor as a temperature sensor. Remote Temp Click is supported by a mikroSDK compliant library, which includes functions that simplify software development. The EMC1833 can also report an ALERT signal if programmed temperature thresholds are exceeded. The diodes can be connected as indicated in the figure below. Remote Temp Click can be configured to measure a CPU substrate transistor, a discrete 2N3904 thermal diode, or CPU/GPU processor diode. This option makes Remote Temp Click well-suited for monitoring the temperature of a CPU, GPU or FPGA, where the BJT model junction can be a substrate PNP or NPN. Remote Temp Click is a temperature sensing Click board™, which features the EMC1833 from Microchip, a specifically designed IC, capable of measuring remote temperature. ![]()

![]() For example, if the last card in a tableau column is the 8 of Diamonds, and there is a 7 of Diamonds in the foundation pile for Diamonds, you can then move the 8 of Diamonds there. As cards are revealed while you are “building” the tableau, you can move them into the foundation, helping you win the game. The goal of moving cards in the tableau is to reveal additional cards. For instance, if the last column has a 7 of Clubs, 6 of Hearts, and 5 of Spades turned over in that order, that group of cards can be moved beneath an 8 of Diamonds and Hearts in another column. Groups of turned-up cards can also be moved to on the tableau. This means if there is a face down-card remaining after the 3 of Clubs is moved, it should be turned up, and it becomes another card you can build with. Remember that in each of the tableau columns, the last card should always be flipped face-up. This is called “building.” For example, if the third column has a 3 of Clubs, it can be moved to another column beneath a card that is either a 4 of Hearts or 4 of Diamonds. Similarly, cards in the tableau can be moved around to other columns where there is a card of the opposite color and an incrementally higher number.Either a 7 of Spades or Clubs from the stock pile can be placed on top of it. For example, let’s say there is an 8 of Hearts in the third column of the tableau. Stock pile cards can be placed below a card in the tableau if that card is of the opposite color and a number one rank higher.Specifically, the first column has 1 card, the second column has 2 cards and so on until the seventh column, which has 7 cards. The tableau is the group of cards with the seven columns, with the last card of each column turned facing up, and with each column having an additional card. Cards from the stock pile can also be placed in the tableau. If your second card is a 2 of Spades from the stock pile, you can then place that on top of the Ace of Spades in the foundation. For example, if you happen to have an Ace of Spades as the first card turned over from your stockpile, you can place that card on the foundation pile for Spades. Cards can be moved directly to the foundation if they are in the correct order. These cards can either go into the foundation or the tableau, the area where the cards are laid out in a staircase fashion below the stockpile. Each card is removed from the stockpile one at a time, or three at a time, depending on if you are playing Turn 1 or Turn 3. On the top left, you’ll see a stack of cards. You move cards into the foundation by dispensing cards from the stock pile and sequencing all cards in the tableau. Each pile represents a different suit and should be filled in order, starting with the Ace all the way to the King. These are the four empty areas at the top of the game. To win, you want to place all the cards in the four foundation piles. When you hear the game Solitaire, in general it refers to Klondike Solitaire. Klondike Solitaire refers to the classic version of solitaire. ![]() Use hints and undos, and customize your game experience. ![]() ![]() ![]() The number of cards you can move at one time depends on the total number of free spaces on the board. You can move several cards at the same time, providing they have already been ordered sequentially. From there, you continue searching and find you can put the 2 of spades in column 5 on the ace of spades we just moved, and so on until all the cards have been cleared. So, in this game, you could move the red 5 of hearts to the black 6 of spades in column 7, freeing the ace that can then be moved to the foundation. You can move a card onto another card on the tableau providing it is 1 point higher in value and it must also be a different colour. But, it is not free yet: it has a 5 of hearts on top of it. In the above figure, you can see that three aces have already been found. So, it makes sense to start by trying to clear the aces on the tableau, then the twos and so on. The goal of Freecell is to move the cards from all 8 columns in the tableau to the 4 foundations, in series always starting with an ace and ending with a king and sorted by the 4 different suits in the deck. The " foundation”: this can be found at the top right of the screen. Here, you can temporarily place playing cards you do not need at that moment. The " free cells”: these are the 4 free cells at the top left. The first 4 columns have 7 cards each and the last 4 columns have 6 cards. The “ tableau”: this is the part where 52 (shuffled) cards are arranged face up.To get a good understanding of Freecell, we will start by looking at the layout comprising the following three parts: Freecell is a card game that belongs in the category of Solitaire games and is played by one player. ![]() ![]() ![]() Only the items that you use the designs on can be offered for sale.
